[The petition is badly damaged with parts of the first two lines being missing, and much of the remainder being illegible].The abbot and convent make a request concerning the moiety of the manor of Ulverston that William de Coucy held from them, as after the death of Coucy they had [entered the same], but the moiety is now in the king's hand.
