Nature of request
Writ of Edward II commanding the sheriff sicut plures to distrain Gilbert de Aton and others by all their lands and goods, and to have Aton and the others before the barons of the Exchequer at Westminster in the morrow of the close of Easter to answer to the king and Joan Comyn of Buchan, for the entry by force and arms on the manor of Malton and the goods of Comyn that they took away from it, the king having committed the manor to Comyn.
