Note (Additional information about the record)
- It is hard to identify what is left of this petition, but it would seem likely that it is requesting the grant of the office of parker in the king's park of Freemantle, and ranger in the forest of Woolmer and Halnesholt made to Edward Hargille on 20 July 1461 (CPR 1461-7 p.24). A similar grant, but apparently not including the rangership, was made by Richard III on 21 February 1484 (CPR 1476-85 pp.454-455).
