- CPR 1385-9 p.98 is dated 1 February 1386, and is clearly in response to this petition (although another Richard Clifford was appointed to the prebend in 1397 (Fasti Ecclesiae Anglicanae 1300-1541, St Paul's London, p.23), there was no vacancy in the diocese of London between 1382 and 1404).
