Note (Additional information about the record)
- Very tentatively dated on the basis of the hand, the mention of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales, who died in 1282, and of Hywel ap Gruffudd, who was granted the manor of Mostyn in 1278 (Petitions Relating to Wales p.505). Petitions Relating to Wales p.505, however, dates the petition to c. 1301-7, without explanation.
