[This petition is fragmentary] The Archbishop of Cashel makes four petitions:1) He asks that he might not be further harassed concerning the testament of Reginald Maccotir, clerk and citizen of Cashel, as he died as a faithful Christian, and made a testament long before his death. It is claimed that he was a usurer, but the bishop states that long before his death, at the command of the pope, he ceased from this practice and made satisfaction.2) He asks that £400 that Reginald is alleged to have owed the king might not be demanded from him, requesting an inquest of faithful merchants of Ireland into the matter.3) [This petition is fragmentary] He asks that a prison might not be built.4) [This petition is fragmentary] Item whereas the same archbishop was . . . worth 3 marks to a certain . . . previously, with two or . . . another claiming . . . in the absence . . . .
