Nature of request
Arnold Micol of Gascony requests payment for wines taken from him at Kingston upon Hull in the fifteenth year of the king's father, or that he might be assigned the custom of Saint-Macaire until he has been paid; or, if this is not possible, that he might be paid from the goods of rebels - that is, those from the Duchy who supported the French - in London.
Nature of endorsement
This bill is to be sent to the Chancellor, and writs are to be sent to the keeper of Kingston upon Hull, and to his lieutenant in the fifteenth year of the king's father, and to Hamo Quarel, valet of his chamber, and to his other ministers, by whom the king may be better informed concerning the things mentioned here. And when the king is certified that the said wines were found for his benefit, satisfaction is to be given to the said Arnold by payment or assignment if it please the king.It pleases the king.
