Bolas requests remedy against Tettelesworthe who resides at the Strand, is 'King and ruler of all inquests in the county of Middlesex' and, as is well known, is corrupt. For two years Tettelesworthe has been delaying her pursuit of several felons, to her damage of £3000. He has also illegally detained her chattels, and has recently has had her indicted and imprisoned in the Marshalsea.
