- Sigure requests justice and restitution because despite his letters of safe-conduct the ship called 'la Mary' of Guipuzcoa, of which he was then master, was captured at sea two years ago by the company of Lord Fauconberg. - The petition probably dates to c. 1458, when various commissions were issued into the capture of 'la Mary' of Guipuzcoa by pirates (CPR 1452-61, pp. 435-6 and pp. 438-9). The master is named as John Dyryard. The pirate named, however, is John Castilion, not Lord Fauconberg.
