Sigure requests justice and restitution because despite his letters of safe-conduct the ship called 'la Mary' of Guipuzcoa, of which he was then master, was captured at sea two years ago by the company of Lord Fauconberg. He also asks for safe-conduct for the ship called 'la Mary' of Sigure, of which he is now master.

Note
The petition probably dates to c. 1458, when various commissions were issued into the capture of 'la Mary' of Guipuzcoa by pirates (CPR 1452-61, pp. 435-6 and pp. 438-9). The master is named as John Dyryard. The pirate named, however, is John Castilion, not Lord Fauconberg.
