Blount requests letters patent under the seal of the Duchy of Lancaster granting him £400 yearly from the lordship of Ulnes Walton, the rents and herbage of Blackburnshire and the herbage of Bowland until he is satisfied for 5000 marks. Blount was possessed of a prisoner named Sir Reginald Gerard, who the King's father, by his letter dated 20 February at Rouen castle, ordered Blount to deliver to him, for which he was granted 5000 marks, but has received nothing.
