The deans, canons and vicars of the college of St Mary in the Newarke, Leicester request that Wymondeswold, Fletcher, Bower, Dalton, Moredok, Glover, Bower, Fletcher, Driver, Bacon and Tirlyngton be ordered by writ to come before the council to be punished for inciting a riot of 700 or 800 armed townspeople against the college and its inhabitants, trampling the town's mayor in the process.
