Megson requests that letters be directed to Waterton to cause justice to be done to her in two matters, firstly, because Lorymer has unlawfully occupied her lands for three years, and secondly, because Wheatley owes money which he borrowed from her late husband.1)

[Partly illegible] If the lands contained within were held as is claimed, then Waterton ...2) These are bills of various complaints with writs sub pena.

Note
Dated on the guard to 1440, though no reason is given. The petition dates to between 1399 and 1458, during which time Waterton was almost always appointed to commissions of the peace in the West Riding.
