[Top left-hand side damaged] Goldebeter requests that the commons ask the King and lords of Parliament to have the chancellor investigate his complaint against Waryn, Fleet and Patesley. Waryn gave Goldebeter a gift of 100s, but then, with Fleet, Patesley and others, told Bythewater and other notable men that Goldebeter had extorted it from him. Waryn and Fleet then swore to maintain their lie before the council unless Goldebeter paid them £50, which he agreed to do.
