- Sibyl, abbess of Barking, and her convent request that the chancellor cause a serjeant at arms to arrest Sapy and cause him to come before the King to answer various charges so that they may have remedy. Sapy made one of their villeins a free man against their will and entered Essex with a false testimonial letter sealed by the good people of Boston and Benington and stayed in Essex for a long time under these false pretences.
