Nature of request
Allerthorp, Gascoigne, Waterton and West, who have been seised of the manor of Baddesley Ensor to the use of Isolde, wife of Roger Saperton for 46 years, request that a writ be directed to Cokayn, who entered the manor with force and arms, to be before the council with all muniments and evidences touching the manor.
Nature of endorsement
On 8 July in the 7th year etc., with the chancellor, treasurer, keeper of the privy seal, Lord Burnell, Sir Hugh de Waterton and John Cheyne present in council, it was agreed that Cokayn be ordered by writ to be before the council at Westminster on the quinzaine of Michaelmas next, bringing with him all his evidences and muniments as well as those of his mother's and of any others in whose right he has entered the manor named within.
