Nature of request
Le Fayre, Burdeaux and Seosa, owner of a balinger called 'Seinte Marie' of Portugal, request delivery of the same balinger, its merchandises and themselves, the master and mariners, imprisoned at Harwich. Le Fayre and Burdeaux had loaded Gascon wine on the balinger at Southampton for bringing to London when it was captured at sea by four balingers of Gosford and Harwich. They also request that the captains, masters and lords of the four balingers be made to come before the council to answer for their actions.
