- William de Rodestone requests an allowance for £30 for the damage he has suffered through 'cokedons' (debased French coins): as he received each cokedon for a penny, and when he paid them to the king he could have an allowance of only half a penny for each one. An inquest held by Richard de Abyndone found that he had suffered damages of £60, and so the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer ordained that he should have an allowance for £30; but he has not yet been able to have an allowance for even a penny. He requests a remedy.
