Nature of request
John de Kilvyngton states that he has had the keeping of the manors of Faxfleet and Sand Hall for two and a half years, at the command of the king's father, answering for the issues in the king's chamber, and has accounted for the issues annually until the morrow of Michaelmas last, but that Richard de Ikene and Richard de Wynferthyng, appointed then to receive this account, would not allow him his wages for lack of warrant. He requests a writ to the said auditors to give him an allowance for reasonable wages, such as Geoffrey de Edenham, the keeper immediately before him, received.

Coram magno consilio.He is to have a writ in Chancery to the Richard and Richard mentioned here, to allow John de Kilvyngton such wages for the time for which he has accounted as they have allowed Geoffrey de Edenham, the keeper immediately before him, for the said keeping.
