[This petition is badly faded] Robert de Morly states that he had the manor of Turnham, which belonged to Hugh le Despenser the son, at lease, that is it say, from Michaelmas in the twentieth year of the king's father, until Michaelmas in the king's first year, together with the corn sown during Hugh's time, and that he spent great sums on it, but that within his term the king granted it to John de Roos for term of life, and he expelled Robert, keeping the corn sown both by Robert and by Hugh, without making restitution, to Robert's harm of 100 marks. He requests a remedy.
