Bertran, son of the lord of Montlaur, states that he has been in the king's service in the war in Gascony, and asks that the Constable of Bordeaux might be ordered to pay him what he can show to be due to him for his wages and compensation for the horses he has lost in the war.

The Constable of Bordeaux is to be ordered to account with him, and to pay him what is found by the account to be due to him, as soon as he properly can.
