[This petition is damaged] Peter de Mont Cam makes three petitions:1) He states that he abandoned all his goods and inheritances to come into the service of the king's father in his war in Gascony, as was attested before John de Haustede, the king's Seneschal, and that in compensation for these losses, John granted him the goods of John de Boglon, by virtue of an assignment made on these goods by Edmund, late Earl of Kent, the king's uncle, then lieutenant in the Duchy of Guyenne. But now, by virtue of the treaty between the king and the King of France, all the goods of rebels who adhered to the King of France are to be returned - although he and the others in his position will not be able to recover their inheritance. He asks the king to ordain for the recovery of his goods and inheritance.2) He states that he was without any compensation for four years, before the Earl of Kent made this grant to him, and suffered great damages as a result. He asks the king to have consideration to him [and to give him some compensation].3) He requests payment of [his wages] and for horses lost in the king's service.
