- William Arnold, Lord of Auros, states that he has served the king well and loyally in his war in Gascony, and that because of this the French have seized his lands and rents in the Bazadais to the value of £200 tournois. He asks the king and council to give him compensation from the lands of rebels in the Duchy of Aquitaine.

- The king has ordained that certain great people will be sent quickly with full power to do the things which are appropriate and profitable for himself and his subjects; and the king will order them that, when they have informed themselves of his losses, they are to give him such recompense as is appropriate and as might reasonably suffice.
