Nature of request
Bertram de Boumount states that he is accused of the death of Oth de Mauhaut, eight years ago and more, although he is completely innocent of that death. He asks the king to pardon him his suit and to grant him his peace, in consideration of his good service to the king and his ancestors, provided that he stands to right before the king's ministers in Agenais against any other party who wishes to complain of this death.
