Nature of request
Arnold de Poillaud states that he has served the king in various places in Gascony, and that he is owed £2067 10s. of Bigorre for wages for himself and his men. He asks that he might hold the petty custom of Royan, in person or through an attorney, until he has been paid this sum.

The Seneschal of Gascony and Constable of Bordeaux are to be written to, to inform our lord the king of the manner of his service, and how the king can properly give satisfaction to him for the money the king owes him.
