- Galhard de Borce states that he is owed money for his wages and those of his companions in the service of the king's father in his last war in Gascony, and requests letters to the Constable of Bordeaux to pay him, for which he can show bills under the seal of John Travers.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- From the hand and the reference to the king's father, this petition would seem to be datable to the early years of the reign of Edward III. John Travers was Constable of Bordeaux between April 1324 and Easter 1326, and between June 1331 and February 1335. He does not appear to be Constable at the time the petition was written, which would seem to suggest a most likely date of 1327-1331.
