In part compensation for his losses and damages, he asks that he and his heirs might have certain lands and rents in Libourne, which are worth only 15s. sterling, as otherwise he will have to sell his horses and equipment.2) He requests payment for his wages, and of compensation for lost horses, according to documents that his proctor can show.
Nature of endorsement
[On face, to first] [Deleted] The Seneschal is to be ordered to inform the king of the value and of . . . things contained in this bill. [Not deleted] Be it remembered that the Seneschal has recommended him most especially. He is to show the form of the gift of Condat. Be it remembered that nothing is to be done about Libourne.[To second] The Constable is to be written to to pay him from the issues of his bailiwick or from the monies that will come to him.[None on dorse]
