Nature of request
Bernard de Brigeto, judge ordinary of the Agenais, makes two requests:1) He states that he was granted his office for term of life by the king, and has held it for five years continually, without receiving any payment of his fees. He asks that the Constable of Bordeaux might be ordered to pay him the due and accustomed fees.2) He states that he is so impoverished by the war that he can scarcely maintain his estate, and that he is owed money for his wages from the time when he and his household were in the garrison of the castle of Puymirol in the king's time and that of his father. He asks that the Constable of Bordeaux might be ordered to pay him his wages, as he will not do so without the king's special warrant.
Nature of endorsement
To the first: the Constable is to be ordered to inform himself, and to pay him what he can find to be due to him as soon as he properly can.To the second: he is to pay him as is answered above.
