Nature of request
William de Galard, esquire of Gascony, states that William Dangerak has been pursued judicially since the beginning of the war in Gascony for the death of Fortaner Darmaignak, and because of this has been banished from the Agenais by the officials of the king's father; and because of this, and for fear of the French who now hold that country, he does not dare to return there. He asks that king to pardon him his suit and all banishment for the said death, doing justice to the other party, and to grant him his peace.

The Seneschal is to be ordered to inform himself concerning the matter, and to inform the king of what he should do.
