Nature of request
Theobald de Preyssac and Arnold Bernard de Preyssac, his nephew, state that they have been in the king's service, and have lost all their houses and goods. They ask that, in consideration of this, they might build a fortified house on their land.
Nature of endorsement
The Seneschal is to be ordered that if finds that he can do it without prejudice or harm to the king, he is to allow him to fortify the house, provided that he surrenders it at the king's pleasure.
