Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
Amaneu de Curton states that William Arnold de Gogeshante, Gerald de Lyvynak, and Amaneu de Lyvynak, his brother, have shown him in private council that they wish to give the king a large piece of land called Gogishante, part of the honour of Levignac-de-Guyenne, which is of their lordship, as they hold a quarter of the castle and lordship of Levignac-de-Guyenne. They also want to give the king half of the lordship that they have in the castle and honour, and half of the toll (peage) that they have in that lordship, for the king to build a bastide there, of which he will hold one half and they will hold the other. This will be greatly to his profit, as the bastide will be in a very advantageous location.

The Seneschal is to be ordered to advise himself and to inquire into this, and to inform the king of what he finds.
