Isard de Lanplane, sergeant-at-arms and lord of Lalanne, states that in response to a writ from the king, the Seneschal of Gascony and Constable of Bordeaux have found that Bertran, formerly Lord of Lalanne, received nothing from the prevote of the Isle d'Oleron for a debt assigned to him by the late king there, as can be seen from the letters they have sent the king, sealed with their seals. He asks that he might have an assignment for this debt from the bailiwick of Pontonx-sur-l'Adour, in consideration of the good service done to the king's father by Bertran, his son, and Isard, and of Isard's losses.

Coram rege.He is to show the information mentioned in the petition.[On dorse of SC 8/290/14499] The command mentioned by this petition is to be brought before the council, and likewise the certification.When the commands mentioned in the petition were shown, it was found that it is so.Afterwards, Isard de Lane Plane came before the king's council, on his own behalf and that of his wife, and a discussion took place, and in this it was granted by the council that the said Isard, for himself and his wife, will receive £1000, and that he has remitted, for himself, his wife and his people, any further sum of money that he could claim.A commission is to be granted to the aforesaid Isard of the bailiwick of Pontonx-sur-l'Adour, to have for as much as has hitherto been given for that bailiwick at the Exchequer of Bordeaux; and the Seneschal and Constable of Bordeaux for the time being are to be ordered to deliver the aforesaid bailiwick to the aforementioned Isard, and to allow him £100 in that currency annually in the issues of the said bailiwick, until satisfaction has been given him for the sum of £1000.

The petitioner is granted Pontonx-sur-l'Adour, to hold according to the terms of the endorsement, on 20 September 6 Edward III 1332 (m.4 of C 61/44). The letters patent mentioned by the petition (SC 8/290/14499) are dated 27 March 1331.
