- [This petition is slightly damaged, and the ends of the lines are missing] Arnold William de Fyrmaut states that Raymond de Broulh, notary in the Duchy of Guyenne, had borrowed £29 of Bordeaux from him, and that afterwards Raymond was arrested by the Constable of Bordeaux, and all his goods seized. He states that it is a custom in the Duchy that when a person's goods come into the king's hand, any debts that he owes should be paid before anything else, and asks that the Constable might be ordered to pay him what he can prove to be owed to him from the goods that he has seized from Raymond.
