Nature of request
Thomas de Craysothen states that when he went to the court of France with Simon de Stanes, leaving his goods and chattels in his lodgings at Bordeaux, Oliver de Ingham, Seneschal of Gascony, seized his goods into the king's hand on the pretext that Thomas had gone without his permission or knowledge, to avoid rendering account to the king; although no account had in fact been demanded from him. He requests a writ to Oliver to return his goods and chattels to him, and asks that suitable auditors might be assigned to make a final audit of his account in Gascony, from the time when he was charged with the Constable's office in Bordeaux by the said Oliver de Ingham.
Nature of endorsement
Oliver de Ingham and the said Thomas are to come before the council, and their arguments on the things contained in this petition are to be heard.

Oliver de Ingham, Seneschal of Gascony.
Note
Oliver de Ingham was Seneschal of Gascony between March 1326 and February 1327, and between June 1332 and July 1343. From the hand and content, this petition would seem most likely to come from his second period of office. It is tentatively dated to 1335 on the guard, without any reason being given.
