- [This petition is badly damaged, and apparently burnt: little can now be read.] Elias . . . petitions concerning damage done to his castles, lands and rents. He has appealed to the king, and now asks him to . . . all claimants in the court of Saint-Sever . . . the Seneschal that he will come.

- The Seneschal is to be ordered again by writ [containing the] form . . . that, calling the king's council . . . the whole process against the aforesaid . . ., he is to give him such and so swift [justice], according to the laws and customs [of those parts], that the aforesaid Elias ought not to . . . of justice prosecute his appeal . . . France interposed, or of . . . this reason.The Seneschal is to be ordered.
