Nature of request
William Aimeric de Burbotan states that he has served the king in his wars in Gascony, and is still [ready to serve], and that a sum of money is owed to him for his wages and for loss of horses. He asks that the Constable of Bordeaux might be ordered to account with him and to pay him what is due to him from the issues of the Duchy or from [money] coming from England, so that he can better serve the king and maintain his estate. And he requests the king's letters patent on this.
