-
- Petitioners
- Huguet (Hugh, Hugues) Oger.
- Name(s)
- Oger, Huguet (Hugh, Hugues)
- Addressees
- King and council.
- Nature of request
- Huguet Oger states that he and his father have served the king well and loyally in the war in Gascony, and that he has lost his land, which is in the hands of the French, and also his father and a brother. Oliver de Ingham inquired into his losses at the king's command, and he was granted 10s. tournois daily until the king ordained otherwise; but he cannot have any payment of this sum. He asks that in compensation for this sum and for his service, he might have the prevote of Saint-Emilion for ten years.
- Nature of endorsement
- The Lieutenant and Seneschal who will shortly go to Gascony with full power are to be ordered to have such consideration for his damages and services that he should reasonably consider himself satisfied.

- Gascony, [France]
- France
- Saint-Emilion, [Guyenne, France].
- People mentioned

-
Note (Additional information about the record)
- Tentatively datable to c. 1343 with reference to the mention of Oliver de Ingham, who was Seneschal of Gascony for the second time between June 1332 and July 1343, and with the mention of the sending of a new Seneschal (Nicholas de la Beche) and Lieutenant. A date of 1345 might be even better in this respect, as another new Seneschal (Ralph de Stafford) was nominated in February 1345, and also the first Lieutenant for some time, Henry, Earl of Derby, in May 1345.
