Nature of request
Armand de Puch Agut states that because of his service to the king and his father in the war, he has lost land worth £20 sterling annually, without receiving any compensation. He asks that he might be granted the prevote of Saint-Emilion for term of life, or, if that does not please the king, that he might have a rebate for £300 tournois that he owes the king and his father for the bailiwick of Sainte-Foy for the year before the war, and an allowance for the remainder as the king and his council are advised. He also requests compensation for P. Dile his companion, who has lost land with an annual value of £6 sterling, and also compensation for the horse he lost at Puyguilhem. He also asks that their wages might be accounted for and paid.
Nature of endorsement
The Constable is to be ordered to inform the king how much the bailiwick is worth annually, and what service he has done the king, and for what reason the debt is due, so that the king can further do what he ought.
