Nature of request
Burnet Emerik states that held a ship from master Aubert, then Constable of Bordeaux, which the king had acquired in the war, which was freighted to come to England, and that when the ship reached Sandwich, it was ordained that he and it should return to Gascony in the company of John de Weston, Constable of Bordeaux; and when it reached Bordeaux, John de Weston sold it, without giving him any warrant for it. He asks that John de Weston might be ordered to give him a warrant, and that his account might be audited, and that he might be paid what is owed him, especially his wages from the day when he took the ship at the Seneschal's command until the day when the constable took the ship out of his hand.

The Constable of Bordeaux is to be ordered to account with him, and to pay him what is found from the account to be due to him, as soon as he properly can.
