Nature of request
The abbess and convent of Preaux ask that the Sheriff of Hampshire might be ordered to pay them an alms of 100s. that they used to receive before the war, together with the arrears since the peace.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.The treasurer and barons are to be ordered by a writ of Chancery to have that alms paid to the abbess and convent from the time that peace was concluded between the kings, as they were accustomed to have it before war broke out etc.
