- William Jordan de Cabenak states that he was in the king's service in Talmont when it was besieged, in the company of the Lord of Landrax, and that the French have burnt his houses and stolen his lands. He requests letters to the Constable of Bordeaux to give him an allowance for his damages, which amount to £50 sterling, so that he might be able to serve the king as he used to.
