Folios 193-194. Letter from David Compigne, Hampshire, Sussex and Dorset Fire Office, Gosport, concerning two arson attacks, the first at North End Farm, Hastings, Sussex, property of William Postlethwaite and others, and the second, at farm premises belonging to Charles Osborn, Fareham, on 5 September 1835. Compigne asks the government to offer a reward and pardon to any accomplices giving information, and to publish any rewards offered in the usual papers circulated in the neighbourhood.
