Folios 179-180. Letter from F E Morrice, and O Hammond, Betteshanger, [Kent], in reply to prior correspondence from the government concerning a case of animal killing where 4 ewes and 8 lambs belonging to Mr Tomlin, of Ash, were slaughtered on 4 or 5 July 1835. States that the parishioners of Ash promise a reward of £100, and asks the government to offer a pardon to any accomplices giving information.
