Description

These registers of petitions from the companies court give the title of the petition, registered office of the company, names of the petitioners and solicitors acting on their behalf, nature of the application and brief details of the order made by the court. The registers are kept in two series, 'Winding up' and 'Chancery'. In the first are entered petitions concerning compulsory and voluntary winding up etc and in the second, applications for confirmation of reduction of capital, sanction of schemes of arrangement etc.

Volumes extend only to 1986, when the details they record were computerised.
