- Folio 94. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Marriott, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union. They state that they have received a report of a visit to the workhouse by the Lunacy Commissioners and now pass on the Commissioners observations and recommendations contained in the report. The Board agree with the Commissioners' objection to having 2 male paupers sleeping in one bed and order that separate beds be provided. [This section is crossed through].
