- Folio 72. From the Poor Law Board to John Charles Wylde, Treasurer of Southwell Union. Preprinted form/letter divided into two parts regarding payment of a Parliamentary Grant.
- Sending a copy of the form to be used by the treasurer to draw a bill upon the Paymaster General for £150:13:4 the sum payable for salaries of the schoolmasters/mistresses and half salaries of the medical officers for the year ended 31 March 1856. The proper bill to be signed, and transmitted through a country bank to a London banking house, and then to the Paymaster General at Whitehall; will be paid by the Bank of England. When paid should be placed with the credit of the Southwell Union.
