- Folios 55-56. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Marriott, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union. They claim they have not received 'Returns Form B' regarding the number of paupers in receipt of relief for the current half year. They ask for these immediately and suggest in future the returns are sent no later that the day following the guardians meeting.There is an annotated note to this letter regarding the weekly returns and asking for a letter to be sent for those outstanding.
