- Folio 50. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Marriott, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union. They refer to a letter sent to Mr Manwaring regarding the conduct of the relieving officer. The Board asks for his name and a statement of the circumstances of the removal of the pauper Mr Noble to the Derby Lunatic Asylum.There is an annotated note on 30 April 1856 that no reply has been received and to send a reminder.
