- Folio 46. Letter from Thomas Marriott, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union to the Poor Law Board. He refers to his own letter of 21 February 1856, regarding the contract entered into between the guardians and George Crosland of Sheffield concerning the Great Northern Railway. As the former valuation is about one third of what it should be the guardians are anxious to show this in the new rates.
