Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to John Kirkland, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union, indicating that they have written to A G Chamberlin, District Auditor, agreeing that future audits may be held at the Crown Hotel in Southwell. It is stated that the audit of the accounts must be held at the workhouse or other public place and that once work on the infirmary is completed consideration should be given to the provision of a new board room with the current board room being converted into a dining room.
