[Josiah] Burchett to Sir Stafford Fairborne on 9 June: only nine flags were included in the half pay list laid before the house of commons. If he thinks he is not entitled to half pay his recourse is to the queen. Dated at the admiralty office. Sir Stafford Fairborne [to Under Secretary Lewis] on June 10: covering letter for a copy of Burchett's letter above. He thanks Dartmouth for speaking to the queen about him. His last commission was that of an admiral. Dated at Golden Square. No. 137
